The Doers

Ever wonder how people do what they do? Find out at HOWDO’s new monthly series, The Doers. Enter with intention and leave inspired. The Doers is a free monthly event series hosted by HOWDO. Each month we showcase a different Dallas doer, from artists to entrepreneurs and chefs to athletes, doing what they do. Join us for a drink and a snack, and good conversation around what drives some of our city’s most creative thinkers.

VOL. 4 Gut Check ft. Baylor Barbee

The clock’s ticking on 2017 >> Enter your next doer: Baylor Barbee, a Dallas-based entrepreneur, author and triathlete. Join us at HOWDO on July 20 for a purposeful happy hour to get you back into gear as we make our way over the hump into the second half of this year.

Baylor is an Amazon best-selling author and one of the Top 12 Most Influential African-Americans in Dallas. He pushes his audiences (including big names like Xerox, Chase, Boys & Girls Club and Baylor University) to overcome adversities and surpass their goals through speaking and professional development.

Take some time at The Doers to discover something new about yourself, something that will push you to think a little bit bigger, reach a little bit higher and accomplish something even greater before this year’s up.

We’re bringing in Roots Juices owner Brent Rodgers to serve up fresh pressed juices turned cocktails. Brent’s journey to Roots was unconventional in itself, making him a perfect complement to our conversation around checking our, well, guts.
